The Washington Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The WHA only offers two bedroom units for families.The WHA offers one Public housing community with 50 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from studio's to 2 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the WHA to pick up a pre-application,located at 350 Washington St, Washington, KS 66968 during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (785) 325-2416 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.The WHA does have a preference for: Elderly, or disabled individuals.For more information, the WHA can be reached by calling (785) 325-2416 during normal office hours.
